Every year we open for Christmas Tree sales on the Friday immediately following Thanksgiving. You can either cut your own tree from our fields, or you can purchase a pre-cut tree from us.

The pre-cut trees are are grown on other farms where the soil is deep and rich and rock free. This year the pre-cut trees are thick lush healthy Firs between 7 and 12 feet tall, and range in price, based upon height.

The trees in our fields are all the same price (we like to keep things simple). The species we have growing, and their characteristics are:

White Pine - this is a long needle tree. the needles and branches are very soft. It is lovely and will hold its needles longer than any other tree in our fields. Unfortunately, because its branches are soft, it is not suitable for very heavy ornaments.

Norway Spruce - These trees have short needles that are softer than the Blue and White Spruces. They are a dark green, hold heavy ornaments well, but their needle retention is fair.

Balsam Fir - This is one of the more frequently requested species. It has a distinct sweet aroma, soft deep green needles, medium strength branches and its needle retention is very good.

Concolor Fir - These long, soft needled trees have a light blue tinge to them and smell wonderful. They can hold medium weight ornaments and have a very good needle retention.

Once you have chosen your tree, we bail it in netting and help tie it on your vehicle.
