When we first began selling Christmas Trees, we would build a fire in an open pit surrounded by rocks. We would then stand around the fire, dressed in many layers, trying to stay warm while waiting for the next customer to arrive. When it rained or snowed, we stood under umbrellas.

After a few years of freezing our toes and fingers off, we decided to clean out one bay in the old log barn (that was right behind us!) and set up and wait in there.

A few years later we added a wood stove, chinked the cracks between the logs and life became good!

Our family is full of creative people. After visiting a few other Chose & Cut Christmas Tree Farms in New Jersey, we decided to offer some of our crafts for sale. Over the years, we have added items made by other local artisans.

Every year we have new and different items for sale in the store. They range from home baked goodies, jams and jellies, to hand made jewelry, hand crafted ornaments, pottery, and knitted and hand woven garments and gifts.

The Christmas Shop now occupies three of the original bays of the Barn.

While we are baling your tree and tying it on top of your car, you can come inside the store, warm up by the stove, have a cup of hot chocolate, visit with friends and browse for some unique gifts.
